Every social worker encounters complex situations in their work that require thoughtful decision-making and effective strategies. How to navigate such situations? How to better analyze the client’s situation and find solutions that really help?
The case study seminar will give you the space to share experiences and learn practical skills when working with real and model cases. Together we will look for new perspectives, effective working methods, procedures and concrete steps that you can use immediately in your practice.
The seminar is intended for social service workers, social workers in social services, hospitals, schools, social departments and other institutions. In addition to analyzing and solving specific cases, you will gain a structured tool for organizing collegial support, making it easier to share experiences with colleagues in the future.
Through case-based seminars, you will deepen your understanding of your work and strengthen your practical skills to deal effectively with situations in your daily work.
In addition, you will take away guidance on how to hold collegial meetings aimed at helping each other to resolve difficult situations.
The case study seminar will last 4-6 teaching hours by appointment, during which the following four basic blocks will take place. Individual adaptation to your specific needs and possibilities is of course possible. If you wish, I can also prepare the seminar for you in an online format.
1. Introduction
2. Working with a model case study
3. Work with selected case studies
4. Summary and reflection of the seminar
Person-centred approaches will provide a framework for thinking together about how to address complex client situations.
